If you are planning to study a higher education course in Canada you already know that you will need to proof your English Language proficiency. The most common test used to be IELTS, however the The computer-based Pearson Academic English teste is getting more and more popular.
Pearson institute has announced 5 new Canadian institutions that are now accepting this test, meaning the exam is now recognised by 90% of the country’s post-secondary institutions. The new institutions are:
- Holland College
- Oulton College
- Coast Mountain College
- Focus College
- Northern Lights College
“We believe PTE Academic offers a huge advantage to test-takers,” Marlene Olsavsky, managing director at Pearson Canada said in a statement.
The test is now recognised by more than 2.000 institutions around the world and is famous for it’s fast track results, most of applicants receive their score in 2 business days after taking the exam.
“Having reliable results will enable us to better support our students as they begin their academic adventure at Coast Mountain College,” director, institutional research and registrar at Coast Mountain College, Stephen Salem noted.
